Mission Statement:  Our constant goal is to provide our customers with a safe and dependable supply of water. The Water Department is committed to ensuring the quality of water as required by State and Federal Laws.

General Services:  The Duplin County water system presently has 13 elevated storage tanks, 14 ground water wells and 6 booster pumps station which pumps water thru out the county. On an average day, the Water Department delivers approximately 1,600,000 gallons of water to 7,200 customers. The Duplin County Water System is permitted to operate by the State of North Carolina under Public Water System I.D. number 04-31-085. This insures the water is treated and tested by State and Federal Laws.
